Boleros Y Tangos
Both volumes of Boleros y Tangos were recorded in 2000 and 2001. The project was one of the great stylistic expansions that Hauser developed at the beginning of this century. Hauser, who is strongly influenced by bebop and hard bop, was inspired by South American idioms and jazz improvisations and composed a range of extraordinarily beautiful songs, which have enjoyed huge success. The band, which featured the great Mexican piano master Heriberto "Heri" Paredos, was carefully assembled and impressed with particularly harmonious interactions.
