Mark Hauser B3 Quartet Live at Baerechaeller
The project was based on the idea of a special combination of instruments that is rarely heard. Mark Hauser got particularly excited about integrating the Hammond B3 organ, which was originally used in gospel music, into his band. What's popular today had almost completely disappeared for a long time The Hammond B3 was world-renowned in jazz in the 50s and 60s, particularly through Jimmy Smith. For his project idea Hauser selected compositions from the American Songbook and employed a typical "acoustic groove jazz" as a musical concept. The result was a groovy jazz mixture with a certain intellect, combined with a positive commercial touch that appeals to a broad spectrum.
